Jesus — our Healer
We have had the privilege of witnessing incredible healings—bones shifting back into place, ligaments restored, and hips made whole. We’ve seen demons flee, infections disappear, and even the smallest details—like our boys’ tiny fingers—healed in an instant. From simple headaches leaving to children being completely healed of cancer with no explanation other than a miracle, we have seen more than enough to say with confidence: Jesus is still the Healer.
More than that—He is our healing.
And while we have seen the unexplainable, we have also walked through moments where healing came in a different way. We have watched the Lord, in His kindness, bring friends and loved ones peacefully into His presence—declaring an eternal healing over them.
What we have come to understand is this: the promise of healing is ultimately an encounter with the Father—whether through His touch here on earth or in the fullness of eternity.
The miracle of healing is not just the removal of pain or the absence of disease—it is the revelation of Jesus.
May every journey toward healing lead us to Him.
So how do we respond to a Jesus who heals—
who is our healing—
We come to Him. Not striving or begging.
But with faith, with trust and not doubting, ready to receive.
If you are in need of healing, from physical to mental or emotional, He is able! If you are asking, His response is always yes! He is the answer, He has the final word and He has already spoken throughout scripture that He is willing and able — it is what He came for, its what He died for, it is who He is.
This guide is an invitation—
to fix our eyes on Jesus,
to remember what He has done,
to receive what He has already paid for,
and to walk in the fullness of who He is.
Let this be more than something you read—
let it be an encounter with Him.
Begin with Worship and Repentance
Start by fixing your eyes on who Jesus is—not just what He does.
We believe a key part of healing is repentance. So ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart. Is there anyone you need to forgive? Or is there anything you need to confess to Him?
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases.” — Psalm 103:2–3
“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” — Psalm 139:23-24
Prayer
Jesus,
You are forever good, You are merciful and kind, and You are my healer.
I remember Your faithfulness— I remember Your ministry during Your time on earth.
You never change. You forgive, You restore, and You heal.
Search my heart, Holy Spirit.
If there is anything in me that is not from You, I lay it down. Renew a right spirit within me.
I turn to You again and I receive Your mercy and Your forgiveness. Thank You for Your loving kindness.
I am Yours.
Amen.
Declare the Heart of Jesus
Healing is not separate from who He is—it’s part of His nature.
“But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the Lord.” — Jeremiah 30:17
“As the sun went down… the touch of His hand healed everyone.” — Luke 4:40
Prayer
Jesus, You came to heal.
You are healing. Your heart is for restoration.
I know Your plans for me are for good and not for harm. I trust You. I believe in the power of Your Words. Every word You spoke echos throughout eternity. As I reach for You and draw near to You, I thank You that You draw near as well. And in Your presence I am free, I am restored, I am healed, I am forever changed!
Receive by Faith What He Has Already Done
We don’t beg for healing—we receive what Jesus already paid for.
“He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.” — Matthew 8:17
“By His stripes we were healed..” — Isaiah 53:5
Prayer
Jesus, thank You that You already carried my sickness.
Thank You that healing was paid for at the cross.
I receive what You have already given.
By Your wounds, I am healed. What a beautiful Savior. Thank You for bearing it all.
Pray Boldly for Healing
And hold tightly to the power of Amen - “so be it”
Pray with faith, confidence, and expectation.
“Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed.” — Jeremiah 17:14
“Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” — Mark 11:24
Prayer
Lord, I ask You now—heal me, restore me from the inside out.
Bring restoration to my body, my mind, and my soul.
I know You who made my ears hear me.
I believe You are working even now.
Speak Life — Declare & Prophecy
There is power in speaking truth over your life.
The Word is alive, pray and declare it aloud.
“Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me.” — Psalm 30:2
“I will not die but live.” — Psalm 118:17
Declaration
I will live and not die.
My body is being restored.
Healing is flowing through me as His blood cleanses me from the inside out.
Jesus is my healer.
Trusting God When Healing Looks Different
Sometimes healing comes instantly.
Sometimes it comes over time.
And sometimes healing comes in eternity—the place we were created for.
It doesn’t mean it isn’t healing.
The world has taught us to fear death,
to see it as loss without victory.
But Scripture tells us that death has lost its sting.
Because of Jesus, healing is not limited to this life—
it is fulfilled completely in His presence.
My Testimony
[While I have seen many incredible healings since this testimony, that season of my life marked me—it changed me. The Lord has done a deep work in me, reminding me that He is still the Healer and He is always good, and that I am called to hold onto faith. Through that season, the power of the Cross became more real to me than ever before. It gave me a deeper gratitude for all that Jesus has done for each and every one of us.]
The night my mother passed away, as we were taking communion the Lord spoke to me so clearly.
He gently said, “Heaven is healing.”
Hours later, my mother received her healing—just not the way we were hoping.
She stepped into her eternal home, fully restored, fully whole, in the presence of her first love, the one whom she had been crying out to — Jesus.
I was completely heartbroken and felt lost. She was my rock, my closest friend. But He was near. He had brought my mother home and at the same time He wrapped me in His arms. I grieved deeply. Loss hurts. I was coming into the third trimester with my firstborn son, Rivers—her first grandson—whom she never got to meet.
Scripture tells us this life is but a breath.
And because of His promises, I know I will see her again. [the thought fills me with such joy!]
And in that truth, He continues to meet me graciously with His peace— that surpasses all understanding— and holds me close even in the midst of tears and heartache.
One night, I had a dream.
I picked up a note in my mother’s handwriting, and it read:
“I’m living in joy, free of shame.”
And I knew she was not just healed, but she was free! What joy it must be to be with the One whom our soul was made for, to walk with Him, to see Him face to face.
Truth to Hold
We may not understand why some are physically healed here
and others in eternity—
but His ways are higher, and His heart is always good.
Experiencing loss does not discredit Him as Healer.
It reveals that His healing is deeper than we can see.
He sees our grief.
He is near to the brokenhearted.
And He loses not one of His sheep.
Prayer
Lord, I trust You.
Your ways are higher than mine.
Even when I don’t understand,
I know You are good.
You are near in my grief
and present in my pain.
Thank You that nothing is wasted with You.
Thank You that healing is complete in Your presence.
I trust You with both life and eternity.
Amen.
